Foppe d’Hane’s 15th Vintage Gathering in his home village of Ufford attracted a wide range of interesting cars from the area—and beyond—including an excellent showing of Talbots, of which, these are just a few.
Tim O’Brien and his niece, Imy, set off for home in their AM75/90 Tourer; Jim Parker’s 75/105 VdP replica and some of the models he has made; the beautiful Sun-Ray lenses on Emile Van Thoor’s AV105 VdP de Luxe Tourer; a line up including Stephen Lee’s AO90 Brooklands, Richard Bonson’s AM 75 Six Light Saloon and Sally and David Morris’s AU14/45 Saloon, ‘Gwendoline’; Emile Van Thoor and Louis Putzeist, over from Belgium and Holland respectively, prepare to leave; Robert Frankcom’s BG110 VdP Tourer in full weather gear after travelling up from Dorset; Tom and Carole Whatton’s AV105 VdP Tourer—his Ulster Saloon was also there; fresh from restoration with Ian Polson was new Member, Bruce Copp’s, 105, which we look forward to seeing on some further events.
A great Talbot turn-out.
