Winnington House
In July, Simon Scott organised a car day at his estate at Winnington in Cheshire. Suffering as it did, from poor weather, his Winnington House Vintage and Classic Car Gathering still attracted a variety of cars and a wonderful demonstration of a Napier aero engine being run up.
It was great to see Simon’s family so into their old cars and his sons, Archie and Austin, show how younger generations can get really enthusiastic if given sufficient encouragement. Here they are on the VSCC Staffordshire Tour with some pictures of the Winnington event below.
